School Counselor

Education:  B.A. English with teaching option from MSU
                       Masters in Counseling in 2002 from MSU--Northern

Family:  I am married to Rick and have two grown children; Shane is 28, and Colleen is 26.  I will have a new son-in-law next summer.

Goals:  My main goal is to keep working, learning, and improving to be the best counselor I can be.  A personal goal is to get in shape - I even started lifting weights again!

Hobbies:  I love to read!  I also garden, camp, and fish.

Perspective on Education:  Education is life-long.  I do not believe we should ever stop learning.  I also believe all teachers should go to school every once in awhile not only to improve our knowledge and skills, but also to help us remember what it is like to be a student (and sit in those desks all day).
