I was born in Enumclaw, Washington and I have eleven siblings--7 brothers and 4 sisters!  I graduated at Central Washington University in 1984 and my first teaching job was in Auburn, WA, teaching 6th grade.  For the next eight years, I taught 6th grade or a split 5/6th.

I married Jack McInerney from Fairfield, MT in 19889 (19years!)  We have three children:  Michael Ann 11th grade, Kristy 9th grade, and Casey 7th grade.

I returned to the classroom in 2002, teaching a variety of classes at Shields Valley Junior High.

I enjoy any activity with my family.
