I graduated from Clyde Park High School and went on to get my B.S. in Education (mathematics Ed. major/Business Ed. minor)

Family:  5 children

Zach-graduate of Montana Tech and is now an engineer at USG in Burlington, Iowa

 Elizabeth-graduate of MSU BIllings and is now manager of "The Buckle in Northtown Mall in Spokane, WA.

Nathan-in the process of moving to Minneapolis, MN

                                  Laura-will begin at the Academy of Cosmetology in Bozeman in October

                                  Matthew-an 8th grader at Shields Valley

Goals:  to go back to school, get to do all the jobs I've always wanted to do, travel and visit my children a lot!

My view of education:  SO IMPORTANT-every aspect of it.  I tell the students to do as well as they can in everything because it opens the door to many opportunities that they may not even be dreaming of now, or haven't been invented yet!  People change over time and one never knows what they will want to do in the future.  I am not against home-schooling because the majority of those who do it now, do a very good job.  I hope we can keep offering many electives for the students.  Our school is great and it takes everyone working together to keep it at the level it has attained for years.

Hobbies:  watching my kids and learning how to use my Itouch.
