State 2008--

SHVS BPA had a very good year.  Seventeen students attended State Leadership Conference in Billings.  Ten students  qualified to compete at the National Leadership Conference in Reno.  Small Business Management Team--Hailey Maier, Michael Ann McInerney, Kristen Scott and Caity Zimmerman, Trillium Memmer-Rahn--Interview Skills, Sky Hager--Interview Skills, Caity Zimmerman--Advanced Interview, Carly Sykes--Advanced Interview, Brittany Ryan--Medical Office Procedures.

Highlights of the SLC included:

Caity Zimmerman is the new State Vice President

SVHS got 1st place for Chain of Love--Special Olympics

SVHS was named Silver Star Chapter again

and the BIG ONE--

SHVS BPA was presented with the coveted

SPIRIT OF PROFESSIONALISM traveling trophy

Earning their Statesman Torch Awards were:  Sam Cornthwaite, Carly Sykes, Kristen Scott, Brittany Ryan and Caity Zimmerman.
