Val-o-Grams
Home Back

The BPA Val-o-grams are something everyone looks forward to.  It is a lot of work, but a pretty good fund raiser.  The members work very hard, ordering, organizing, creating, and putting together balloons and balloon bouquets for customers.  One of the biggest problems this year was delivering all the balloons to Wilsall.  This year it took two of the school vans with Mr. Wilkerson and Ms. Scidmore driving.  Three senior boys went along to help with the delivery.

Getting everything ready to go takes a great deal of work:  sorting, filling, tying and adding candy or flowers to make sure all the customers are happy.  It isn't nearly as easy as it looks!

By the end of the day everyone's fingers are hurting, but the result is amazing.  We ordered 100 more balloons than last year and still sold out!

Mr. Wilkerson volunteered to help deliver the balloon orders to Wilsall.  He and Ms. Scidmore could hardly fit all of the balloons in the two school vans.  Senior boys, Josh Scheele, Adam O'Halloran and Tyler Stutterheim helped with the deliveries as well.

The halls look great and BPA members made sure that every student and staff members in Wilsall and Clyde Park had a Valentine's Day balloon of some kind.  Mr. Peterson, elementary principal, remarked that we put a lot of smiles on kids' faces!
