The SVHS BPA Chapter is committed to not  only competing in academic events, but to adding a new dimension to our school and our community by also being a service organization.  Our members work diligently toward Torch Award points.  To gain Torch Award points, members must work in the areas of Cooperation, Knowledge, Love, Leadership, Service, Love-hope-faith, and Patriotism.

We sponsor poster and bulletin board contests during Spirit Weeks and Red Ribbon Week.  We provide desktop publishing services for the community.  Some of those projects include designing and printing letterhead, envelopes and Appreciation Certificates for the SVHS Booster Club, providing the program for the local Clever Clique Extension Club, creating programs for all of the school activities, sports, music and special events, and even designing brochures for business owners.
